Is propane environmentally friendly?

Yes, propane is very environmentally friendly. Propane is stored as a liquid, but when released into the air, it vaporizes and dissipates — which means it won’t contaminate groundwater, drinking water, marine ecosystems or other sensitive habitats



Does propane have a carbon footprint?

Propane has emissions, that are far, far lower than that of other common fuels such as gasoline. While it does emit low levels of carbon dioxide, propane does not release any wastes such as sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides or methane.
